Tips for the 2025 Tax Season

At Storen Financial, we are always working hard to ensure that the process of completing your tax return is seamless and smooth. Here are some tips on how to prepare ahead of time for an efficient tax return experience this upcoming season.

  • Call us in January if you would like an in-person appointment. Our accountants’ appointment schedules fill up quickly! (Appointment fees may apply.)
  • When bringing us documentation, make sure to remove staples, paper clips, etc., from your physical tax documents, so we can safely scan these into our system.
  • All tax documents for current clients are required by no later than March 30th to complete your return. After this date, there will be a $250 expedited fee to complete your return by the 4/15 deadline.
  • If you’d like us to file a new trust or estate tax return, don’t forget to complete our New Trust and Estate Packet and provide us with your trust/estate setup documents, so that we can complete an accurate return. Call us to ask for this!
  • Make sure to update your bank account information with us if it has changed.
