Our 2022 summer intern recaps his Storen Financial experience
Each year Storen Financial hosts multiple interns in many different roles within our organization. Jeb joined our team for the summer of 2022. Here’s his story…

Purdue University
Majors: Accounting and Finance
“My name is Jeb Garrett and I am currently a sophomore at Purdue University double majoring in Accounting and Finance. My goal is to get my MSA (Master of Science in Accounting) and CPA in the future and my experience at Storen has helped me to further develop my plan.
At Storen this summer, I have been working for the Business Service Team. For the BST, I have been doing a wide range of tasks including bookkeeping, reconciliations, S-Corp election filings, and many special projects. Storen has given me just the right amount of work so that it is all able to be finished and it is not overwhelming. This internship thus far has been a great educational experience for me personally. Not only have they taught me about tax and accounting, but they are very involved in giving me opportunities to learn about what the different teams do here at Storen such as the Advisory (Investment) group. Storen is also giving me the opportunity to become a QuickBooks Pro Advisor.
“My internship experience has been very beneficial and has allowed me to find what I want to do when I graduate from Purdue. For someone who is interested in accounting or tax, I would recommend this internship as Storen teaches you a lot. Not only this, but it is great for people who do not have much experience in tax because the team at Storen will teach you!”
