Growing Together – In and Out of the Office!
At Storen Financial, we believe a strong team is at the heart of a strong client experience. While much of our work happens around financial planning, business strategy, and tax returns, some of the best team-building happens when we step away from our desks and spend time together. We kicked things off at Hickory Bend Golf Course, where we played a scramble and put our teamwork to the test. Between figuring out who had the perfect drive and who was better off leaving certain shots to their teammates, we quickly learned more about each other’s strengths, personalities, and golf talents. There was plenty of friendly competition, lots of laughs, and a few shots we’d rather forget—but that’s all part of the fun.
We also had a team outing to Hickory Hall Polo Club for an evening of watching a sport most of us hadn’t seen in person before. It was a great opportunity to see something different, enjoy the beautiful setting, and simply spend time together as a team. While golf put our teamwork to the test, polo gave us a chance to experience something completely different together and to build the same kind of connection in a more relaxed setting.
As we continue to grow as a company, we know that a strong team is at the heart of that growth. Taking time to connect, have fun, and experience new things together helps build the trust and camaraderie that carry back into our work. These outings were more than just a break from the daily routine—they were another behind-the-scenes look at how we’re continuing to grow, not only as individuals, but together as one team. We are grateful to the people who make our company what it is and to the clients who give us the opportunity to do meaningful work every day.
