QuickBooks Desktop has moved to a subscription-based platform
Are you aware of the recent changes to QuickBooks Desktop? QuickBooks Desktop has recently moved from a one-time purchase option to a subscription-based platform, with monthly or yearly payment options.
What does this mean for QuickBooks Desktop versions of 2019 or earlier (2019, 2018, 2017, etc)?
- Tech support for this product is no longer available
- There will be no further investment in Desktop’s functionality or future upgrades
- The purchase option has been eliminated (now subscription-based only)
- Your access to QuickBooks Desktop Payroll Services, Live Support, Online Backup, Online Banking, and other services through QuickBooks Desktop 2019 (or earlier version) software has been discontinued.
Due to these changes, we recommend you convert to QuickBooks Online.
