Financial Assistant
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Financial Assistant strengthens the client relationship through excellent service and proactive communication.It is a client-facing role serving as the primary point of contact for all client service-related needs and supporting our team of wealth advisors.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Prepare client-facing documents, forms, reports, correspondence, and meeting materials accurately and in a timely manner
- Manage operations and provide administrative support to our team of financial advisors
- Process client transactions, including distributions, contributions, money movements, and security transfers, while ensuring timely and accurate execution
- Coordinate client communications and scheduling for client annual reviews, new client appointments, and funding follow-up
- Manage the new account onboarding process, including preparing and processing account documentation, coordinating with clients to obtain required information and signatures, and submitting applications through custodian platforms
- Attend and support client and team events
- Provide timely, exceptional client service by responding to client inquiries and assisting clients with account maintenance, online access help, and other service requests
- Maintain communication with clients via phone or email contact to strengthen the relationship and provide proactive, ongoing service
- Support the investment team in preparation for client meetings and annual reviews
- Learn and follow all investment products used by the firm
- Maintain a general understanding of global market and economic news to support portfolio investment discussions

- Knowledge of and/or interest in the financial markets
- Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
- Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment
- Competency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Client Relationship Management software knowledge is a plus
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of two years of experience in the financial services industry
- Knowledge of the investment process, IRA tax code, distributions, and annuities is a plus
COMPENSATION:
- Full-time position
- $45,000 – $55,000 per year
- Opportunity for bonuses
