Set yourself up for success by tracking spending
Have you ever wondered, “Where does my money go? How do I prioritize debt payoff and investing? How do I save for a house or car, much less retirement?” Perhaps you have accrued money over the years and are just now learning to manage your assets. Perhaps you are recently divorced or widowed, and your spouse previously handled your finances. Now, you need help sorting through your records to know where your money is going. Or you might have started a new job with a significant pay raise, and you want to make sure you’re allocating your money correctly, avoiding overspending, paying off debt, and saving for the future. All of these situations are where our Personal Finance Program comes into play.
Budgeting that creates achievable goals for your life stage
Our Personal Finance Program is designed to help you know what you’re spending and take control of your money. We’ll work with you to build a budget that enables you to stay on top of your finances in the present as well as determine realistic and achievable goals for the future. Whatever path you are on, this program will meet you right where you are now.
Designed for those who need to know where their money goes
Building a financial plan can be overwhelming, and it can be difficult know where to even start. Having a knowledgeable professional who can review how you’re allocating your money each month may just help set you up for success on a solid foundation. We take the guesswork out of determining the best path by providing access to relevant resources and working with you to establish goals and actionable objectives. You may be a candidate for our Personal Finance Program if any of these descriptions resonate with you:
- You are overwhelmed by your student loans / personal debt.
- You need a plan to save for a house or new car.
- You have money left at the end of each month and don’t know what to do with it.
- You’re recently divorced or widowed, and your spouse was previously the one who handled your finances.
- You want to retire in the next few years but don’t know if it’s possible due to your mortgage, car payment, or other debts.
- You wish you had more margin at the end of every month to start investing towards retirement.
- You have variable or seasonal income and need help making a financial plan that includes estimated taxes.
Consultations include budget discussions, income/expense review, debt review, actionable recommendations, and more
During our initial Personal Finance consultation, we’ll review your current income, expenses, assets, and debt balances. We’ll also discuss your top three financial goals and determine the measurable next steps. After that, we’ll schedule a one-month follow-up consultation to see how your action items are progressing, how we can refine them if necessary, and answer any questions you might have.
Every consultation is different because every client has their own unique set of goals. Consultations include, but are not limited to:
- Identify and prioritize personal financial goals
- Understand your monthly cashflow and budget
- Strategize debt management
- Build an emergency fund
- Discuss how different savings options work and related tax consequences
- Review of employer benefits packages
- Save for your children’s college
- Plan for retirement cash flow
