Technology Administrator

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a self-motivated Technology Administrator to assist the technology department in developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting all technological aspects of our firm. The ideal candidate must have prior, real world experience with Salesforce as well as an appropriate computer hardware and software background. The ideal candidate must be detail and process-oriented with a desire to develop new applications and learn new integrations, as well as be able to suggest ways to solve operational problems using technology.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Salesforce Admin Responsibilities:

• Manage the administration of Salesforce for our sales and operations departments
• Respond to help tickets for Salesforce and other applications in a timely manner
• Utilize knowledge documents, and established guidelines as well as utilize personal troubleshooting skills to resolve issues
• Perform troubleshooting procedures with both technical and non-technical users
• Maintain documentation, departmental procedures, and knowledge base of issues and resolutions with provided software
• Assist with development of internal reports
• Provide training to end users via telephone and electronic documentation
• Utilize self-paced, group, and conventional classroom training programs to maintain technical skills as mandated by industry standards
• Utilize Salesforce-integrated software such as One Span, Conga Composer, Conga Mix, Rubex, Revver, and Zonal OCR.

General Tech Responsibilities:

• Assist in the management of the technology stack, including VoIP phone system, printers, scanners, software installs, and licensing management
• Monitor and troubleshoot nightly system backups
• Provide support to employees on desktop, laptop, mobile device, telephone, networking and software questions
• Manage IT/software vendors and services to resolve issues and maintain support levels
• Perform miscellaneous technology-related projects

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of computer hardware and software with strong troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of computer operating systems, network connectivity, and end user software packages
• Experience with Salesforce Lighting, users, passwords, security, 2FA, and process builder
• Experience configuring validation rules, formula fields, and triggers
• Database management experience with the understanding of relational database design
• Sandbox experience and testing
• Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Organized, self-motivated, and strong desire to help people
• Ability to discern what is being communicated to find the best solution to each issue
• Website hosting and WordPress experience is a plus
• Ability to work occasional nights and weekends as needed

Education and Background:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in IT-related field
• 1-2 years prior Salesforce experience
• 1-2 years computer hardware and software experience

BENEFITS AND PAY:

Pay:

• $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year, based on experience
