Technology Specialist

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a full-time, in-office Technology Specialist to assist the Technology Team with supporting our modern on-prem and cloud tech stack. A successful individual in this position will be very detail oriented, driven to keep learning, engaged and willing to help employees and clients. We are a fast paced firm with a high level of technology needs.

We’re searching for a team member who can not only execute the duties and responsibilities of this position in an exceptional manner, but believes in and demonstrates core Storen Financial values and ethics.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assist in the management of the technology stack, including VoIP phone system, printers, scanners, firewalls, WiFi systems, servers, etc.
• Perform routine technology administration tasks such adding/removing employees, maintaining procedural documentation, configuring computers, managing software licenses, etc.
• Monitor and troubleshoot nightly system backups.
• Utilize knowledge documents, established guidelines, and personal troubleshooting skills to resolve issues.
• Resolve team tech tickets in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
• Assist in the investigation of issues and with the delivery of an appropriate remedy and response.
• Monitor system activity to identify potential trends, training needs or suggest changes that need to be made.
• Provide support to employees on desktop, laptop, mobile device, telephone, networking and software questions.
• Perform troubleshooting procedures with both technical and non-technical users.
• Manage IT/software vendors and services to resolve issues and maintain support levels.
• Maintain disaster recovery and back up procedures as well as information security and control structures.
• Perform miscellaneous technology-related projects.
• Assist in creating, documenting, and updating processes and procedures.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of computer hardware and software with strong troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge in computer operating systems, network connectivity, and end user software packages is essential.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 Suite is essential.
• Organized, self-motivated, and possesses a strong desire to help people.
• Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to understand what is being communicated in order to find the best solution to each issue.
• Ability to establish and rearrange priorities to meet deadlines as assigned.

Education and Background:

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in IT-related field
• 1-2 years computer hardware and software experience

BENEFITS AND PAY:

Pay:

• $35,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year, based on experience
