A day of service filled with hard work, fun, and community

This year, Storen Financial implemented a new program for our employees called a “Day of Service.” This is a way to extend an extra day for our employees to be out of the office, volunteering in the community. Our team finds it incredibly valuable to make an impact in our community on a personal level.

Recently, a group of us teamed up to spend this Day of Service at a couple of Habitat for Humanity build events. We worked on various construction projects at the “HOUSE that ReStore Built” in Boone County. Our group painted, laid flooring, measured and cut soffit, caulked windows, put in electrical outlets, put up vinyl siding, and pitched in on a variety of other projects.

Thank you to Jessica, Penny, Laura, Jonelle, Matt, Chelsea, Mikaela, Nicki, Dani, Erika, Lynn, Brian, Daniel, Rob, and Greg for contributing! Our team was rock solid!

Watch our social pages for many more photos from our events.
