Administrative Manager


The Administrative Manager will manage and staff the tax and accounting administrative department as well as provide positive, encouraging leadership, lead process improvements, and deliver excellent customer service to our clients. This person will work closely with the Tax Services Manager and report directly to the Tax & Accounting Director.

This position requires an organized, detail-oriented, process-driven thinker who can effectively provide energetic leadership especially during high-stress, face-paced tax seasons.

We’re searching for a team member who can not only execute the duties and responsibilities of this position in an exceptional manner, but believes in and demonstrates core Storen Financial values and ethics.


The person who is selected to join our team will be instrumental in developing, documenting and educating others on all details of this position.


• Lead, manage, and staff the tax administrative team, acting as a resource and providing guidance.
• Maintain a balance between day-to-day high-level operational execution and the development of the strategic direction for the department.
• Responsible for creating, modifying, and implementing systems to improve efficiencies and customer service.
• Responsible for the development of the administrative team budget as well as recommendations for achieving greater fiscal and operational efficiencies.
• Responsible for managing tax-related administrative duties, including data entry, scanning and organizing documents, as well as maintaining operational accuracy in the CRM system.
• Responsible for coordinating with the Finance & Operations Director to manage front-office equipment.
• Responsible for vendor and office supply management.

Customer Service:

• Provide prompt, accurate and thoughtful service to clients by meeting or exceeding client expectations.
• Work with Customer Service Manager to support incoming questions, concerns and service requests from existing clients.
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, service communications, and client deliverables.

Education and Training:

• Train administrative team members on correct utilization of approved techniques and processes.
• Manage the development and standardization of written policy documentation related to administrative team job duties and staffing requirements.
• Manage the adoption of system enhancements and process improvements with all team members.
• Responsible for hiring and training seasonal administrative staff.


• Meet with Tax & Accounting Director monthly to review reports, projects, and department direction.
• Participate in team meetings and events that support internal consistency, teamwork and create a fun, enjoyable work atmosphere.

Education and Background:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of professional office management experience.
• Experience with the Salesforce CRM tool extremely preferred.
• Proficiency in use of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, OneNote) required.



• $45,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
